No, extra bed service is not available in our hotel.

All the rates is charge per room.

Can baggage be stored at the hotel whilst I travel to another location in New Zealand?

Yes, with certain limit time.

All rooms offer Free unlimited Wi-Fi and free local, national, international and mobile calls (conditions apply). Our One and Two Bedroom Apartments offer a desktop computer and printer for your use.

Do you have 24 hour room service?

We regret that we don't have 24 hours room service in our hotel.

Do you have a tour desk where I can book excursions during my stay?

We can certainly assist you in booking trips! Reception staff at Swiss-Belsuites Pounamu are very experienced with what Queenstown has to offer and can certainly make some great suggestions and recommendations. If you would like to book trips before you arrive, simply give us a call or email and we can arrange it for you! Alternatively once you arrive, Reception can book your trips as and when you like. We have a large selection of brochures you can look through.

Do you have any special packages for honeymoons and anniversaries?

Yes, we have.

Does my room reservation require any guarantee?

Yes a valid credit card is required for all the bookings.

Does the internet rate include breakfast?

Internet rate available for room only options, since we don't have F&B Outlet in our Hotel.

How do I cancel my hotel reservation without a charge?

If it’s a non refundable booking we wont be able to cancel your booking however if it’s a flexible booking call us and we will assist you.

How do I get to the hotel?

Swiss-Belsuites Pounamu is located just 10 minutes from Queenstown Airport. Turn left at the BP roundabout onto Frankton Road. Skip the first driveway, come around the bend and turn right into the main entrance of Swiss-Belsuites Pounamu.

How far is the hotel from the downtown shopping areas?

We are a short 10-15 minutes walk from the Center of Queenstown or a 4-5 minutes drive. If you don’t fancy the walk (or if the weather is too wet!) then we have corporate rates with Green Cabs NZD$10* to or from town Center.

How far is the hotel from the Lake Front?

Queenstown Lake Front is 14 minutes walk, 4 minutes drive, or Frankton Arm Lakefront is 2 minutes walk.

How far is the nearest hospital to the hotel?

The Medical Centre in town is located on Isle street, a 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive away. Their operating hours are from Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5pm.

Accident and Medical is open weekdays between 8:00am and 8pm. During the weekends Accident and Medical is open from 9:00 am until 8pm. Contact phone number: +64 3 441 0501.

Lake District Hospital is 10 minutes drive , located in Frankton, Queenstown.

How many people can stay in one room?

Maximum 2 people per 1 Bedroom Suite or Alpine Studio Room. Maximum 4 people per 2 Bedroom Suite (Exception 1 child under 12 months is at no charge).

Is a babysitting service available?

We provide Guests with a babysitting service which is available on request at Reception however subject to availability.

Is it possible to check-in earlier?

Yes subject to availability.

Is there a safety deposit box available at the hotel?

We regret that we don't have safety deposit box at this time.

Is there a swimming pool in the hotel?

We regret that we don't have swimming pool in our hotel.

What are local tourist attraction?

Queenstown, New Zealand, sits on the shores of the South Island’s Lake Wakatipu, set against the dramatic Southern Alps. Renowned for adventure sports, it’s also a base for exploring the region’s vineyards and historic mining towns. Our hotel have 2 Bedroom Apartment; 1 Bedroom Apartment; Studio Room; Alpine 2 Bedroom Apartment and Alpine 1 Bedroom Apartment.

Where is breakfast served and at what times?

We can provide you with Continental Breakfast Baskets. These are available to Guest rooms if required at NZD$13.00* per person.

Where is the nearest bank or currency exchange?

Foreign Currency can be exchanged at Travelex Currency Services in the Clock Tower Building, 19 Shotover St. or the BNZ Rees St.
