"Nihao and welcome to China, a ‘must-go’ destination for the adventurer!

A vivid kaleidoscope of nature combined with ancient royal cities and historical sites, modern and high-speed metropolis, a fascinating old-world culture and amazing cuisine make China simply irresistible as a travel destination.

China is a vast and diverse land endowed with some of the most beautiful natural scenery on earth. From the picturesque karst landscape in Guilin and Yanshuo to the precipitous pillars in Zhangjiajie, the colourful lakes in Jiuzhaigou to the Rainbow Mountains in Zhangye, China’s natural beauty is as impressive as its splendidly rich history and intriguing culture spanning more than 5,000 years.

With a population of over 2.4 billion people, nearly 20% of the world’s population, there’s a lot for the tourist to see, do, taste and experience in China.  So, you may need to plan more than just the one trip!

Chinese cuisine is a global phenomenon, but experiencing it here in China is unquestionably one of the finest pleasures for the visitor. Distinct varieties such as the Royal Cuisine in Beijing, the exquisite Xi’an Cuisine, Sichuan Cuisine in Chengdu, Shanghai Cuisine and of course, Hong Kong Cuisine.  All of it wonderful!

Beijing, China's capital city is rich in history, both ancient and modern.  Most famously the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City. And of course, Tiananmen Square, inaugurated by Chairman Mao whose body resides there still today in its show casket.

In the eyes of most, you haven’t been to China if you haven’t climbed atop the 5,000 km structure is an awe-inspiring feat of ancient architecture and engineering, quite deserving of its place amongst "the New Seven Wonders of the World".

Beijing, with its unquestionably glorious past is by no means stuck in the past with the ultra-modern Olympic Village, the Bird’s Nest stadium and Water Cube, as well as dazzling shopping malls in Wangfujing St, and the colourful and high-tech entertainment centre of Houhai.

The Forbidden City, also in Beijing, was the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing Dynasties and today is a treasure house of cultural and historical relics.  It is recognized as one of the five most important palaces in the world, rivalling the Palace of Versailles, Buckingham Palace, the White House, and the Kremlin.

Shanghai is China's biggest city, a world centre for business and the second largest “city proper” after Mumbai.

Then there’s Xi'an, blessed with precious relics including the incredible Terracotta Army, underground for more than 2,000 years and discovered by farmers digging a well in 1974, is one of the greatest ever archaeological finds and a ‘must-see’ for the tourist.

Hong Kong, which some refer to as ‘Oriental London’, is like no other place on earth and on the ‘bucket-list’ of most. As a key global financial centre, Hong Kong enjoys all the attributes of a dynamic, vibrant and modern metropolis, world-renowned as a shopper’s paradise. The super-malls of Central, Admiralty and the fashion factories in Causeway Bay are the reason many travellers make their way to Hong Kong, time and again.

Then there is Chengdu – hometown of the extremely cute Giant Panda’s!

The fact is, there’s so much to see and do in China that visiting once is really not enough!  Be amazed by China and plan your trip today!
