Are there any shopping centres near the hotel and if so, where are they?

Amplaz (Ambon Plaza) is one of Traditional shopping center which is selling a local product with cheap price base to local market, the distance from hotel is only 5-10 minutes by walk. Alternately MCM (Maluku City Mall) is the latest mall in Ambon with selling more selection to your needs.


Are you close to the theatres/entertainment venues?

Yes, it takes approximately 10 minutes by car to the entertainment venues.


What is the best way to see the city of Ambon?

There are many excellent city tours on offer—so the choice is yours. Hotel itself have own treat to your need for sightseeing by riding “becak”, you may ask our Front Desk for further information.


Are office available for rent at the hotel?

We have a boardroom, which is available for rent depending on use. Other services such as catering and equipment are available.


Are secretarial and other business services such as translation available?

We can provide basic secretarial support services. For specialized needs it may be necessary to employ an outside company. Please contact our Front Desk to discuss your exact needs.


What newspapers does the hotel receive and where can I get them?

We have Local Indonesian “Kompas” newspaper and Local Maluku Express at Lobby level.


Can I connect to the Internet from my room?

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.


Are there any golf courses in Ambon?

Yes, there are two main golf courses in the city  Both distance are approximately 25 – 30 drive by car. Lapangan Golf Markas TNI Angkatan Laut and Pattimura Golf Course.

Is it safe to drink tap water in Ambon?

The tap water in Ambon is not potable. 2x complimentary drinking water is provided in all guest rooms per day.


What should I wear in Ambon?

Ambonese people are quite modest. Conservative dress is recommended. Shorts and sleeveless vests cannot be worn to visit a church or mosque.


What voltage do you use in Ambon?

The electricity voltage in Ambon is at 220 volts. Adaptors are available at the hotel upon request.


At what time does the banks open?

Banks are open from 09:00-15:00 hrs Monday to Friday only.


Can baggage be stored at the hotel whilst I travel to another location in Ambon?

Hotel guests can use the storage room at Hotel with free of charge as long as they spend the night at Hotel, no long-term storage allowed with max day storage will be 3 days. Guests will not be allowed to store the baggage whilst they travel outside of Ambon. Unfortunately, the storage facility service is not available for non-guests.


What is the currency in Indonesia?

The currency in Indonesia is Indonesian Rupiahs. All payment will convert to Indonesian Rupiahs, no other currency accepted.


How far is the nearest hospital to the hotel?

15 kms away from the hotel. It takes around 20 minutes by taxi. There are 2 hospitals: RSUD Dr. M Haulussy and RS. Sumber Hidup (GPM)


Where is the nearest bank or currency exchange?

The nearest bank is located a 5 minutes’ walk away.. And the closest money changer is 10 minutes by car.


Is there a doctor in the hotel?

We have a doctor on call 24 hours.


Can the hotel reconfirm my ongoing flight and make arrangement for domestic and international flights?

Yes, the Front Desk staff in the Lobby will be pleased to assist with your travel arrangements.


Do you have a tour desk where I can book excursions during my stay?

There is currently no tour desk available in-house, but we will be able to make recommendations according to your needs.


How do I get to the hotel?

The hotel is just a 35 to 45-minute journey from Pattimura Airport.


Do you have 24 hour room service?

Yes, our room service available for 24 hours.


Do you have hairdryers in the rooms?

Hairdryers are available in every guest room.


Is vegetarian cuisine available in the restaurants?

Our chef will come to see you personally to arrange the vegetable dishes for you.


Where is breakfast served and at what times?

An American breakfast buffet is served in the Swiss-café Restaurant on the lobby level from 6am - 10am


Are baby cots available for the rooms?

Baby cots are available on request.


Are high chairs available in the restaurants?

Yes, we do have high chairs available in all our restaurants.


Is a babysitting service available?

Unfortunately hotel does not have babysitting service.


Is email service available at the hotel?

Guests are able to send and receive email at the Business Centre.


What facilities are available for children?

Special children menus with light dishes as well as high chairs are available in our restaurant.


Do you have non-smoking rooms?

Yes, most of our rooms are non-smoking and are available upon request.


Is there safety deposit box in room?

There is a safety deposit box in every guest room. There are also safety boxes available at the Front desk. They are available free of charge.


Do you have rooms with a bathtub?

Yes, we have in our Grand Deluxe and all Suites.


Do you have twin, triple or family room?

We do have twin, however no triple or family rooms are available.


Is it possible to have an early check-in or late check-out?

We're happy to offer you early check-in and late check-out at additional cost, The following charges will apply to your room reservation;

Early check-in 06:00 am – 09:00 am 100% of room rate
Early check-in 09:00 am – 12:00 pm   50% of room rate

Late check-out 12:00pm – 06:00 pm   50% of room rate
Late check-out more than 06:00 pm 100% of room rate


Bed type and smoking/nonsmoking are depends on the availability therefore cannot be guaranteed.
It is best to speak with the front desk of the hotel on your day of departure to see if Hotel can accommodate your late-check out request.
If the hotel is unable to accommodate this request, we are happy to store your luggage for you while you wait.


What are the standard check-in and check-out times of the hotel?

The standard check-in time is 14:00 hrs and check-out is at 12:00 hrs.


Do you have a pet policy?

We regret that animals are not allowed in the hotel.


Does the internet rate include breakfast?

All room types can be booked with breakfast.


Do you offer discounts for a group booking?

How many people can stay in one room?

Each guest room can accommodate a maximum of three people. Please note that the third bed will be a rollaway bed.


Does my room reservation require any guarantee?

All room reservations require a credit card guarantee.


How do I cancel my hotel reservation without a charge?

To cancel your booking without incurring any charge, please contact the Reservations Department at least one day prior to your arrival. You will then be given a cancellation number. Please note that you must be booked on a ’Flexible’ rate type as ’Advance Pre-Paid’ rates are non-refundable.


Are your hotel rates per room or per person?

The rates charged are per room although the cost may differ slightly for single, double occupancy.


What types of rooms are available in the hotel?
