Island-hopping is part of the wonderful appeal of a stay on Belitung and whilst most islands are uninhabited there are a few that are. Lengkuas Island is renowned for its old 1800s lighthouse, a relic of the Dutch colonial era; promising a great view out over some of the surrounding smaller islands. The island is popular with snorkellers too.
