Under water of Doreri Bay is filled with shipwrecks and one of the best site looked from its shipwrecks type in Indonesia. There are 3 little islands; Mansinam Island, Lemon Island, and Raimuti Island near by Arfai Beach, which has collections of unique and beautiful corals.
There are more than 20 shipwrecks expected, but only 6 out of them that can be seen. Such as Pasir Putih Wreck is a type of Navy patrol boat with length between 13-22 m, Pillbox Wreck is a type of commercial cargo ship carrying ammunition with length between 9-16 m, Cross Wreck is a patrol boat, Mupi Wreck, Shinwa Maru is a cargo ship.
Doreri Bay has diverse function beside a recreation site, it is an estuary for some rivers (Sanggeng, Wirsi, Kwawi and Dingin), Harbor for domestic boat and inter-islands on Papua, fishery affairs for traditional fisherman, and also a settlement area.
Located less than 2 km from Swiss-Belhotel Manokwari, it only take 15 minutes walking to south to reach Doreri Bay or 6 minutes driving via Jalan Yos Sudarso.
