Sub-Province Wakatobi has The Sea National Park which is a conservation area of sea with a width of 1.390.000 Ha. Also at Wakatobi is the archipelago Blacksmith, Marine Park National Wakatobi, a Marine park that is well respected and terumbu, known as the best rock in world. Wakatobi is also well known among divers as one of the world's best dive sites. The name is an an acronym of the four component islands: Wangiwangi, Kaledupa, Tomea, and Binongko.
