This area became the central craft of weaving Sarong Samarinda and in mid-March 2012, the region was declared as the pilot village craftsmen to serve as a national tourist destination. In this area, visitors can travel to see first hand the process of weaving Sarong Samarinda, while buying sheath as a souvenir.
