Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in planning menus, recipes, and daily food preparation.
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure timely and high-quality service.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and standards.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation before service.
- Enforce strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
- Manage inventory, stock rotation, and assist in ordering supplies to minimize waste.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to maintain performance standards.
- Step in for the Head Chef in their absence and oversee full kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas and equipment.
