There are a few options for getting to The York.
Taxi
Located in the Taxi rank outside the Airport Terminal. Although we are only 14km from the Airport, the cost varies depending upon the time of day, ranging between AUD $30.00 and $60.00. Peak hour traffic occurs between 7am-930am and again 430pm-7pm, which delays entry in and out of the city centre.
Train
Located at the end of the Airport, trains run every 10~15 minutes into the City. It is best to board a train that stops at Wynyard Station, which is located only a 3 minute walk from the Hotel. The cost is around AUD $17.00 per Adult one way.
Private Hire
A Limousine or Private Mini Bus can be arranged with prior notice but will be more expensive. A sedan style limousine will cost approximately AUD$140.00 one way and flight details are required to make the booking. A private shuttle will cost around AUD $110.00 one way.
