One of Balikpapans most popular tourist attractions is the Teritip Crocodile Farm. The farm is open daily from 8am until 5pm. There are 1450 crocodiles to see and tourists can feed the crocodiles including buaya muara (crocodylus porosus), buaya supit (tomistoma scheilius) and buaya air tawar (crocodylus siamlisus).
The attraction is about 27km or 50 minutes drive from the city and the entrance fee is only IDR15000.
