July 2011 is a special month for Golden Palm Tree Iconic Resort & Spa being the Resort’s 1st
Anniversary and the Resort will be embracing this special occasion in style and finesse!
Golden Palm Tree in Sepang, Malaysia is proudly managed by Swiss-Belhotel International.

Since its inception a year ago on 6th July 2010, the Resort has achieved tremendous growth
whilst keeping true to its values and actively championing the preservation of the ecological
haven in the surrounding Sepang Gold Coast area on the Malayisan coast of the Malacca
Straits. And, believe it or not – the Resort is proud to announce that it has now officially
received more than 110,000 guests to date. What growth!

In congratulating Golden Palm Tree Iconic Resort & Spa for its amazing growth in just one
year of operation, Swiss-Belhotel International Chairman and President, Mr. Gavin M. Faull

Barely a year after opening, Golden Palm Tree Iconic Resort & Spa has been recognised as
the most preferred venue to host the ‘famous faces’ in the Motorsports Industry and the
Resort recorded a rare achievement by ‘securing’ internationally acclaimed artistes, race
drivers and racing teams during the recently concluded Malaysian F-1 Grand Prix 2011 and
Super GT 2011. In addition to the upcoming Malaysian Moto GP 2011, these high profile
events have also been secured for 2012.

Since its opening the Resort has been awarded several international accolades, the latest being
a ‘green’ award from the distinguished Malaysian French Chamber of Commerce and
Industry (MFCCI) under its Green Technology Category and The Best Eco-Tourism Product
and Most Innovative Tourism Attraction 2010/2011. These achievements are testament to the
Resort’s commitment towards championing environmental well-being and respecting the
ecological community in which this iconic resort operates.
