Swiss-Belhotel International has announced the opening of Swiss-Belhotel Harbour Bay, Batam on 19 January 2013. This 4-star international business hotel offers an array of international standard services and facilities for business, MICE and leisure travellers to Batam.

The opening ceremony was held at the hotel's lobby and was attended by Swiss-Belhotel International Chairman and President Mr. Gavin M. Faull, Senior Vice President Operations and Development for Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam, Mr. Emmanuel Guillard, President Director of PT. Hotel Citra Batam Investama, Mr. Jimmi Ho, also Director and Commissioner of PT. Hotel Citra Batam Investama, Mr. Tommy Ho and Mr. Hartono. Local government officials, corporate representatives, travel agents, invited guests and journalists also attended the event.
