  SBEC Middle East Membership


GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  • The SBEC membership card ( "Card" ) is the property of Swiss-Belhotel International Middle East ("SBIME")
  • The Card is an individual, personalised and non-transferable card
  • Members can use the Card at all participating Swiss-Belhotel International hotels and resorts
  • The Card is valid only if signed by the member
  • The privileges linked to the membership will only be provided on presentation of a valid Card, i.e. the member needs to present the card upon check-in/ check-out at the hotel and upon entering/ leaving the restaurant
  • The SBEC number should be provided when members make reservation
  • The benefits are subject to room/ table availability and prior reservation

ACCOMMODATION
General
  • SBEC Members or Certificate Holders can only make reservations directly with the hotel via on-line ( Swiss-Belhotel International Corporate Website, Swiss-Belhotel Rewards Website, Swiss-Belhotel International Individual Hotel Website ), or off-line via facsimile, telephone, e-mail or walk-in
  • The participating hotels and resorts and their restaurants may change from time to time and an up-to-date list of participating hotels may be obtained through the Swiss-Belhotel International Website
  • Members are entitled to a guaranteed complimentary early check-in ( from 10.00 am onwards ) and late check-out ( up to 04.00 pm )

Complimentary Room Night Certificate
  • SBEC members receive one ( 1 ) transferrable Complimentary Room Night Voucher per annual membership which can be used at participating Swiss-Belhotel International hotels and resorts, and is based on Superior Room category
  • Each hotel/ resort has a limited number of rooms allocated for the use of these Complimentary Room Night vouchers and rooms in excess of this allocation need not be made available to certificate holders. It is therefore advisable that reservations are made well ahead of arrival date to avoid disappointment for not granting voucher redemption
  • When making a reservation, voucher holders need to inform that they wish to use a Complimentary Room Night voucher, and provide the name of the member, the membership number and the Voucher number
  • Members or Voucher Holders can only make reservations directly with the hotel via on-line ( Swiss-Belhotel International Corporate Website, Swiss-Belhotel Rewards Website, Swiss-Belhotel International Individual Hotel Website ), or off-line via facsimile, telephone, e-mail or walk-in
  • The Complimentary Room Night Voucher is valid for twelve ( 12 ) months from the date the SBEC membership commences and is redeemable at participating hotels and resorts only
  • A maximum of one ( 1 ) Complimentary Room Night Voucher may be used per stay
  • When making a reservation using the Complimentary Room Night Voucherm holders must provide a credit card number to secure the reservation
  • No cancellation charge applies if the reservation is cancelled up to one day prior to arrival. One night SBEC Members' rate will be charged for any cancellation or no-show

Complimentary Room Upgrade Vouchers
  • SBEC members receive three ( 3 ) transferrable Complimentary Upgrade Vouchers per annual membership which can be used at the issuing Swiss-Belhotel International hotel or resort, subject to room availability
  • When making a reservation, Voucher holders need to advise that they wish to use the Complimentary Room Upgrade Voucher, and provide the name of the member, the membership number and the Voucher number
  • Room upgrades may not be confirmed until the date of arrival and are subject to availability
  • Members or Voucher Holders can only make reservations directly with the hotel via on-line ( Swiss-Belhotel International Corporate Website, Swiss-Belhotel Rewards Website, Swiss-Belhotel International Individual Hotel Website ), or off-line via facsimile, telephone, e-mail or walk-in
  • The three Complimentary Room Upgrade Voucher are valid for twelve ( 12 ) months from the commencement date of the SBEC membership and are redeemable at the issuing hotels and resorts only
  • A maximum of one ( 1 ) Complimentary Room Upgrade Voucher may be used per stay
  • When making a reservation using the Complimentary Room Upgrade Voucher, holders must provide a credit card number to secure the reservation

Members' Rates
  • SBEC members will receive the Members' Rate of 15% discount off the Best Publicly Available Unrestricted Rate at the time of reservation at participating Swiss-Belhotel International hotels and resorts
  • This Members' Rate is applicable to all room types and is based on " Last Room Availability ", which means that if the hotel/ resort has a room available, the member is guaranteed a room at the Members' Rate
  • SBEC members will receive 10% discount off any Public Special Rates & Packages advertised directly by participating Swiss-Belhotel International hotels and resorts
  • Members can only make reservation directly with the hotel via on-line ( Swiss-Belhotel International Corporate Website, Swiss-Belhotel Rewards Website, Swiss-Belhotel International Individual Hotel Website ), or off-line via facsimile, telephone, e-mail or walk-in
  • Restrictions and limitations apply and these may be subject to a room allocation on any particular night. Advance reservations are necessary
  • SBEC member stays on a Member's Rate will earn Swiss-Belhotel Rewards points, in accordance with the Swiss-Belhotel Rewards terms and conditions, however these stays do not earn Frequent Flyer Points

Member's Exclusive Special Rates
  • SBEC members will be offered Members' special discount on room rates or package rates at participating Swiss-Belhotel International hotels and resorts from time to time
  • These room only rates and package rates are based on full pre-payment upon reservation. No refund and no change of dates will be allowed.
  • Members can only make reservation directly with the hotel via on-line ( Swiss-Belhotel International Corporate Website, Swiss-Belhotel Rewards Website, Swiss-Belhotel International Individual Hotel Website ), or off-line via facsimile, telephone, e-mail or walk-in
  • Restrictions and limitations apply and these may be subject to a room allocation on any particular night. Advance eservations are necessary.


DINING
  • SBEC members get dining privileges at participating restaurants at participating Swiss-Belhotel International hotels and resorts upon presentation of The Card
    1. When a member dines alone a 20% discount on food and 20% discount on beverage applies
    2. When a member dines with one other person a 50% discount on food and 20% discount on beverage applies
    3. When a member dines with two other persons a 33% discount on food and 20% discount on beverage applies
    4. When a member dines with three other persons a 25% discount on food and 20% discount on beverage applies
    5. When a member dines with four other persons a 20% discount on food and 20% discount on beverage applies
    6. When a member dines with five or more persons a 15% discount on food and 20% discount on beverage applies

  • Only one card may be used per table for dining
  • The beverage benefit is only applicable in combination with dining at the participating restaurants
  • The dining privileges are not applicable to the room service menu, banqueting menu, kid's menu and minibar
  • The dining privileges are not applicable on special event days like Eid Holidays, National Day, New Year's Eve, Christmas, Valentines Day, Mother's Day, etc

OTHER BENEFITS
  • SBEC members are extended free use of internet at participating Swiss-Belhotels in The Middle East
  • Card members automatically becomes members of Swiss-Belhotel Rewards membership program ( "SBR" ) with Platinum status and will be able to earn and use Swiss-Belhotel Rewards points as per the terms and conditions of Swiss-Belhotel Reawrds
  • SBEC members have access to a dedicated Swiss-Belhotel Rewards member website ( for more information please visit www.swiss-belhotelrewards.com )
  • SBEC members who introduce a new SBEC member receive one transferable Complimentary Room Night Voucher ( Superior Room category ) which can be used at the issuing Swiss-Belhotel International hotel or resort
  • SBEC members can apply for a supplementary card for their partner ( spouse ) at 25% discount off the normal membership price
  • The supplementary card will offer similar benefits as those offered with the primary card

VALIDITY OF THE CARD
The Card is valid until the last day of the month shown as the expiry date on the card

MEMBERSHIP ANNUAL FEE
Primary Card annual membership fee US$ 199 net
Supplementary Card membership fee US$ 150 net


LOST OR STOLEN CARDS AND CERTIFICATES
  • All lost or stolen membership cards should be reported to the issuing hotel or resort immediately
  • An administration fee of US$ 10 net will be charged to the member to issue a replacement membership card and the new card will have a new membership number however with an expiry date as per the one on the lost or stolen card
  • Lost or stolen Vouchers cannot be replaced

PRIVACY
  • Swiss-Belhotel International and its related companies may hold relevant information provided by SBEC members on a computer database and may use this from time to time for marketing and promotional purposes specific to the SBEC program
  • SBEC members agree to Swiss-Belhotel International sending from time to time direct mail or receiving telephone calls or e-mails to keep you informed about any promotions or other developments regarding your membership

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
Subject to any statutory right that cannot be excluded or limited Swiss-Belhotel International's total aggregate liability to each member shall not exceed, in the case of a claim in relation to goods, the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods, or in the case of services, the supplying if the services again or the payment of the costs of having the services supplied again

TERMS AND CONDITIONS SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Swiss-Belhotel International reserves the right to adapt, change or amend the terms and conditions of the membership any time without notice
